Our next book will have all murder mystery lovers on their toes... Here to give us a quick peek is The Deadliest Game (TDG) Book Team:

Can you give us the rundown on TDG?

Olivia: The Deadliest Game is a modern mystery that kicks off when your wealthy best friend invites you to a murder mystery game at his remote estate. You happen to know a thing or two about the genre, but this is one game that's about to get a little too real...

So... who's invited? And who can we really trust?!

Olivia: A great question that just might help you stay alive ;) But if I had to pick one person to trust, it would be Farah Sabri, a.k.a. the love of my life. Like everyone else at the party, this flighty socialite has got secrets... but if you ask me, she keeps her cards close to her chest for good reason.

Amanda: We have a good group of players for the murder mystery. Keep your eyes close to Dante, mostly because he can be dreamy.

Glenda: I'm enjoying breaking down Jun's tough and strong exterior. Is he a big softie on the inside or can he really be trusted? I can't wait to uncover that mystery!

Jeffrey: The guest list's net worth exceeds the GDP of a tiny nation. Trust no one!

Can we look forward to collecting any clues?

Olivia: 100% yes, and you will be collecting them in style!

Amanda: The clues have been super interesting from the start! I think the writers and artists did a good job with the story behind every clue.

Glenda: What would a murder mystery be without some compelling clues? Collect them all and you just may be on your way to solving this mystery yet!

Without sharing anything too spoilery, was there a particular moment in the story that was your favorite to work on?

Olivia: I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan, so just getting to do those classic mystery moments - the reveal, the clues, even the red herrings (or are they red herrings?) - with a modern twist was a ton of fun. I hope we did them justice!

Amanda: Getting to work on some of the costumes was super fun! It was great collaborating with the writers and artists on how we envisioned our theme for the party.

Jeffrey: The one with the puzzles. Capturing the tropey party-noir vibes was fun.

It's all fun and games until... someone is missing! DUN DUN DUN! If there is one piece of advice you'd like to tell players before entering into The Deadliest Game, what would it be?

Olivia: Keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and if you need anything around the house, just ask your friendly local Whoosh.

Amanda: Trust your instincts, you're in for a mysterious ride!

Glenda: Be wary of your new friends. Everyone is sus! 

Jeffrey: Choose your friends wisely.
