Immortal Desires 2

*Queue music: Supermassive Black Hole, by Muse.* They're baaack! We're reuniting with the Immortal Desires Book crew to give us some deets about Book 2: 

What awaits us in Crimson Beech, this second time around?

Jayne: In Book 1, you were the new kid in Crimson Beech. Now, you're the new vampire. You're learning how to manage your new strength, speed, and perhaps most importantly, your bloodlust. And that's not even to mention the newest threat that's come to town...

Maya: So I think the real question is what awaits us outside of Crimson Beech?

We miss the Immortal Desires crew! Will we be meeting any new blood in Book 2?

Maya: Definitely! Now that you’re a vampire, you have a whole slew of mentors from both covens to show you the ropes.

Katie: With that said, there's absolutely more blood for our main character to drink.

Glenda: Question is, are they friends or threats? Hmm…

The suspense... Are there any new features that fans will encounter in this book?

Maya: Now that you’re a vampire, the Talismans you collected in the last book won’t do you much good… but you have plenty of new abilities to unlock.

Jayne: Many of which are not commonly seen in the vampire world.

Katie: It was super fun to code the different in-game effects for each of these!

Glenda: The collectibles are dazzling. Collect them all to boost your new abilities!

We're ready for it! Looking back, what were some memorable moments when creating this sequel?

Katie: The complexity of the code in this book was really fun! I haven't gotten to work on books with collectibles, multiple LIs, and a variety of other things that need to be tracked and flagged. It was fun to flex my little programmer brain!

Jayne: We had a ton of fun deciding what your cool, new vampire powers would be - and what they definitely wouldn't (having Parker screech and echolocate like a bat... maybe not so badass).

It'll be a great time! Moment of truth: Which coven are you loyal to? 

Maya: IDK about loyalty, but I am 100% a Clement.

Katie: This is so hard, but based on the outfits, I'm gonna have to go with Venandi. I love the outfit in the first chapter, and I could never pull it off in real life so I must live vicariously through my MC.

Glenda: Gosh, this is a tough one. They’re both good! I have to say that I’m slightly partial to Cas’s general badassery (can I say that?) so am leaning towards the Venandi’s. 

Jayne: It's a tough call, but I gotta go with the Clements! I'd be terrible at hunting. Just awful. Besides, hanging out with Gabe all the time would be a huge perk.

Looks like we’ll have a hard time deciding because both covens are… to die for (or, technically, live forever ;) Thank you all for sharing your thoughts with the community.
