Queen B 2

We hope watching the Queen B Q&A got you all hyped (if you haven't checked it out yet, you totally should). And now, here to deliver more news and excitement about the upcoming sequel is the Queen B team! 

Okay, first things first. Spill the tea on what we can expect from Book 2.

Maya: You might be riding high as Belvoire’s new Queen B, but when the mysterious X hijacks The T and calls your authority into question, there’s a whole new battle on the home front. With your enemy hiding in the shadows, can you keep your shiny new crown on your pretty little head?

Whoa! Who could be behind this mysterious X? And what other new characters will players meet?

Maya: I’m excited for players to (figuratively) meet X. It’s been tons of fun to write an antagonist who operates off-screen, and I can’t wait to see all the theories about who they are.

Sara: I mean, if you’re like me, you’re constantly falling in love with the whole crew over and over again. There's also a new streamer (and super smart e-girl!) I’m excited for y’all to meet. She’s got brains, style, and I loved getting into her head.

Chelsa: You’ll definitely be seeing some new faces around campus, as well as the familiar faces of your friends (and frenemies). I don’t want to give anything away but… it looks like you’re not the newbie anymore.

Bring on the competition! We'll have to dress to impress... Which by the way we couldn't resist peeking at the new outfits and accessories! Talk about fire!

Heather: My favorite is the new leather jacket for our main character. I wish I had one in real life!

Kristina: There's plenty of ways to mix and match your look, so you can solve this mystery while not looking so last season.

Count us in! On another note, looking back at the creative process of it all, were there any stand-out moments you want to share?

Maya: We came up with some really fun challenges for when you’re rushing Apoidea, the secret society you’ll be trying to get into to cement your power over X. Let’s just say, it’s time for you to spread your name off-campus.

Chelsa: Just reviewing the chapters before they go out the door, there were a few that were laugh out loud hilarious from beginning to end.

Heather: One of my favorite things has been working with the team behind the story. It’s been SO FUN, coming up with ideas about what kinds of things to put into the outfits, what kinds of new hairstyles you guys might want, and learning about what’s coming next in the Queen B world.

Sara: Any time I get to write evil nerds, I’m in heaven. I was also thrilled that my favorite offhand evil Poppy idea from book one got to come back to play a role in the plot of book two.

Curiouser and curiouser... we can't wait to see what idea you mean. Another Q for all of you: if you could step into the story in real life, who'd you want as your roommate from Belvoire?

Maya: Honestly, probably the new girl, Selene. She’s friendly, a little shy, kind of out of her element… I think she’d be the quietest roommate out of the bunch.

Chelsa: Oooh, tricky tricky… But I think Veronica would be a good roommate. I’d get to live in the sorority house (where all the freshmen do the chores), and just imagine the free clothing and makeup swag from her sponsors.

Heather: I honestly think Zoey is the best. I mean, we've already seen what a great roommate she is!

Sara: Okay, but who wouldn’t want to room with Zoey? Amazing clothes that she’d lend you, fantastic music, and always willing to help you hide a body. Close second would be the aforementioned new e-girl in town… 

All great choices! Any last words you'd like to share with our players?

Maya: Nobody said power came without consequences. All eyes are on you, Queen B, including X’s. But between you and me, I’m hoping you come out on top.

Kristina: Keep your eyes peeled. Belvoire is counting on you!

Chelsa: You’ve climbed to the top of the food chain, newbie. But let’s see if you survive senior year. Kisses!
