Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to sail to a new land in Distant Shores this April! Here's what the crew's been up to:

Pirates and treasure and time traveling, oh my! Can you tell us a little about Distant Shores?

Megan: Distant Shores is the story of a modern young hero or heroine who finds themselves suddenly swept back to the 18th century. Luckily, they end up with a ragtag group of roguish pirates and embark on an epic swashbuckling adventure... but in the back of their mind, they can't help but wonder if they'll ever make it back to their real time (or if they even want to).

Wow. Sounds like the high seas are full of adventure! Tell us how you came up with this one.

Megan: We wanted to take the drama and angst of a time-travel romance and place it with the fun, colorful backdrop of a pirate story. Once we had that foundation, the brainstorms really took off (except when we got distracted by too many pirate puns).

As for love interests... Who can we meet on the sea of love?

Megan: There's the sexy pirate captain, Edward, the bold and beautiful quartermaster, Charlie... and there may also be a Royal Navy officer who captures your heart while trying to capture you and your crew...

What are you most excited for fans to see?

Tom: The animation team had a lot of fun working on this book, and I think it shows in the amazing special effects and cutscenes.

Megan: We have a lot of spectacular art in this book, courtesy of our intrepid art team. They really managed to take this story to the next level, though my personal favorite piece of art is the first mate's parrot.

If you could be best friends with anyone on the crew, who would you choose?

Megan: I love all the women of the crew, who are each badass in their own way, but Ginny, the youngest but fiercest, definitely holds a special place in my heart.

Tom: I love that there ARE so many badass women in this book! And the men are pretty cool too, well... most of them ;) I'd have to agree that Ginny is my favorite. But brave gunner Jonas might be a close second choice. Don't let his tough guy exterior fool you, he's got a heart of gold!

Any final words for players who dare step aboard the captain's ship?

Megan: Dead men tell no tales...

Aye, can't wait for this epic swashbuckling adventure! But will it be smooth sailing or turbulent waters? Play Distant Shores this April to find out!
